Session 3
Our "heroes" are now considered the defacto enforcers of the Archbaron's Decrees and the keepers of the law in the town of Longacre. The rest of the town's guards appeared to have no issue with this and fell right in line.
There were some open dissenters, of course - like the person who decided to throw horse dung at the jail's windows at the break of dawn for a couple days in a row. But that turned out to be little Jemmy Kemmaino acting out her frustrations with the changes in the town. But a 'friendly' visit with her parents set the youngster straight.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ingoe came by and gave them a intercepted letter that he thought would be interesting to our group of newly minted lawmen and women. Of course, he bartered for a weekly consulting fee of which the group agreed. The letter told of the dire straights the hospice under Dr. Rohalendi was in and was meant to be delivered to her cousin, a lesser noble named Nivianne Giatanno, in Remesiana. Recognizing the potential the situation presented, the party decided to take up a collection amongst themselves and presented it to the good Doctor. She was surprised and amazed and quite grateful. They even helped her out around the place and with errands at the urging of the Baron, including a twist of ransacking the place at a later date and to make it look like the rebellion did it.
After a few nights in the stocks, Caggan got very restless and was banging around making a bunch of noise. When the party went to investigate, they were ambushed by some of the former deputies and Caggan turned into a wereboar and broke free of the stocks. But in short order the situation was under control with Caggan dead as well as two of the three deputies. The third was locked up and was destined as feeding stock for Auberon, since the prisoner showed no signs of telling them anything useful.

Session 2
Before the group left the jail, they decided to take a look around to see if anything of value was left behind by the resigning sheriff and her deputies. The locks on the cabinets and sheriff's lock box proved to be easily defeated and the group helped themselves to all the items contained therein. After all, once they left, they just couldn't leave all that stuff behind with no one tending to the empty jail - someone could come in and steal it all.
Just as soon as they left the jail to go back and report to Razelago, the former deputies decided to ambush them right outside the jail. This very ill-conceived plan ended very quickly with the deputies severely injured, unconscious, and naked locked up in the jail cells. The only thing that kept them alive was that murder is still illegal in the town - and dead people make great martyrs while imprisoned ones make good examples.
For their excellent efforts the group was rewarded by Razelago and the next day met the Archbaron and officially went into service for him and Queen and Country by swearing the Hellfire Compact. It was then that they met the true Razelago - a zebub, or an accuser devil as they are more commonly known. For their first official assignment, they were to arrest Bolgart Caggan, the owner of the Last Stand Tavern, for breaking the new decrees. They were also to interrogate Riley Kels, a bard of some minor ability, who was signing about meeting an "angel of the glorious reclamation."
During the day they met some more of the townsfolk while shopping, including the man in charge of the docks, Mr. Imgoe who happens to be able to get and dispose of whatever the party may need that other vendors and shopkeepers would not be inclined to deal with.
The arrest and interrogation went well. Caggan found a new home in one of the pillories outside the jail and Kels turned out to be cooperative - giving up the information he had and agreeing to go back to the tavern and write new songs about being a good citizen of Longacre and Cheliax.

Session 1
Cimri Staelish brought four associates together to start working with her for Razelago. The five of them made quite the motley bunch: Auberon, the muscular dhampir bloodrager; Zelda, the cold changeling undead lord cleric of Urgathoa; Koshmar the stout duegar blight druid; Finwe the local-born half-elf executioner slayer; and Cimri Staelish another local-born human rogue destined to steal everything not nailed down.
Their first 'job' together was to relieve Jabral Louslik of his money since his business, the Louslik Tannery, hasn't been paying its taxes. The five were successful in this endeavor - only killing Louslik's dogs, dousing his gong-pot farmers in vats of chemicals and excrement, and thoroughly humiliating 'Ole Louslik himself.
After receiving their payment and mild praise from Razelago, they were instructed to attend a gathering hosted by Fifth Sword Knight Tileavia Allamar of the church of Iomedae to find out what was going on and to burnish armbands of Cheliax and House Thrune to remind the population of Longacre who the government really is. After a rousing speech by Allamar and the unveiling of a supposed silver helmet gift from the Glorious Reclamation, the (anti-) heroes were able to diminish the burgeoning rebellious feelings swelling up in the crowd by injecting some of their own oratory. It was at this rally that they met Rhona Staelish, the town's sheriff and Cimri's aunt.
Their next task assigned to them was to post the latest decrees by Archbaron Fex, the town's ruling noble. While wearing their armbands they posted these notices at the Notice Post, The Castle Gate - which they also closed, The Last Stand Tavern, and the town's jail. This is where they also gave Rhona a special note from the Archbaron that relieved her of her station. Outraged, all the deputies also quit their jobs and walked out leaving Razelago's (and the Archbaron's) messengers alone in the jail.
